Former working collie Bill still has it in him as he sires 4 perfect black and white boys and 3 girls to black collie Zara.
Nicknamed Rebel, Venus, Theo, Bruno, Treasure, Wilson and Mars, they were born on 20th September and will be ready to leave to loving homes from 15th November.
They are already playing and love cuddles and are still young, but as Zara creates such beautiful puppies with the kindest temperament due to her nature, early viewing is advised.
Zara is a lovely collie who loves everything and everybody and makes us laugh with her 'daft as a brush' antics. We are in touch with her previous puppies (and kept one), so I will happily send you photos so you can see what yours might turn out like. Bill is our farmer's retired working dog who has mellowed in his old age and looks like a fluffy lion.
Matching our puppies to the right home is essential as they are very much a joy in our lives and it is important that I feel comfortable that they will be with you for the rest of their life, so ask that you let me know a little about your lifestyle when you call.
If you are a family, I recommend that you bring your whole family to view; however, we have also had parents choose a puppy as a surprise for the family, so understand if this is the case for you.
Once you choose your puppy, you are welcome to visit throughout the next six weeks before they are due to leave. Border Collies make beautiful pets as are so good with children and are loving, loyal and easy to train as are highly intelligent. They do thrive on play and exercise and excel in Agility and Flyball, but are just as happy running up hills; chasing balls or, as mine do, accompanying you as you ride :)
I am here to help with any questions you have and am detailed and thorough, so am happy to be here for you once you take your pup home. We have even had several pups come to stay for holidays!
Pups will be de-wormed, cleaned, have their claws trimmed and be vet checked and come to you with a puppy photo, full birth details, a paper towel, a bag of feed to avoid upset tums, a puppy bowl and a blanket with their mum and siblings' smell to help them settle more easily.
Our puppies get the best start in life and will be well handled, used to other dogs, horses, children, car travel and the sights and sounds of farm life and will arrive knowing Toilet and Come and be secure and confident characters of joy.
Unusually, both mum and dad are here on the farm to be seen and can help you see the size your pup is likely to grow to as well as their nature and temperament.
We are situated just 45 minutes out of Glasgow, just 15 minutes off junction 11 of the M74, near Douglas.
